As for the veil, do you have a picture of what it looks like with the veil? I think it's gorgeous without it, so if you choose to skip it, the veil probably wouldn't be missed. If you wanted to wear a veil, maybe one with a thin beading along the edge or lace only at the bottom of the veil so it doesn't take away from the lace on the back? Also, the headpiece is very pretty!

Not yet, it's from an etsy seller, and it won't be here for about a month since she hand makes them! I'm so excited to get it!

Right now the plan is to not wear one. I personally just don't love them. FH loves my hair so I'd rather make that the focal point with a hairpiece instead of covering it with a veil. None of the older women in either family know right now that I don't plan to wear one - I specifically asked the girl at the bridal shop to not mention them since I didn't want to deal with it that day with my mom and grandma. I'm sure someone will have a fit over it but it's our day, not theirs!

I wore a cathedral length veil with details on the edge of it. It matched my dress very well

I unfortunately don't have a pic of me in my veil but I do of my mom. I am wearing my mother's veil. It's a plain veil with lace trim cathedral. Then I do have a pic of my tiara

Right? I think so too! And I definitely will - my alterations lady is making it, so I'm thinking it's likely to be quite close to my wedding when I finally get to try it, but I'll post a pic, I'm sure!

I originally thought I wouldn’t wear one because we’re getting married on the beach, but it’s on a bay so won’t be as windy as if it were on the ocean. I originally wanted a lace gown, so didn’t think it was really necessary, but now that I’m looking at crepe gowns, the consultant put this cascading pearl veil on me and it was a wow moment for me and I just love the way it looks with the crepe dress, so I’ll probably go in that direction
