Maybe I've been under a rock and this is old news or not true, but there's a post on a local FB page that all AA locations are closing today. Anyone know if this is correct? The post also says in-store items are up to 80% off. Update in comments.

David's bridal is offering discounts with AA receipts. http://www.davidsbridal.com/Content_Bridal_alfredangelo?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=organic+social&utm_campaign=brand-traffic-prospecting-other-general&utm_term=prospecting&utm_content=organicpost-facebook-null-alfredangelo-071417
I bought my dress a month and a half ago from there they said it wouldn't be here until September which I though was strange; now they are closing down and can't get ahold of anyone >_< this is extremely stressful hopefully I can get my money back..
It's a complete and total shock to the employees. My sister works I guess I mean worked for AA -- they received a conference call Thursday morning on 7/13/17 saying they were to shut the doors and would no longer be opened after 6pm. They have given them no information accept a # and email address for brides/clients who have not received dresses. Please be patient and understanding with these associates. Corporate New they were closing and moved everything out a week ago and left their associates to deal with all the panimonoum. These associates feel terrible and want to continue to help customers the best they can but like I said have not been given any information. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed that everyone still receives their dress in time for their wedding. It's just heart breaking ??
@natalie a omg that's awful. This whole thing was handled so poorly they gave me a tracking number yesterday when I went to the store that doesn't even work.
Has anyone who hasn't received their dress figured out whats going on; if they are going to get refunded or anything, I was never contacted by anyone yesterday or at all on what was going on with my gown; Probably going to call my credit card company soon and hope for the best and hope i can find a wedding dress in time for my wedding in November
@samantha they are allegedly sending them to everyone who wasn't able to pick them up. You could try to get a tracking number but there is probably no way to hold them accountable. Did u have any alterations scheduled?
@Ashley My dress had not come in yet it was not due to come in until September, yeah and there was no answer when i called their main hub and the stores which i assumed since they closed but i had hoped
@samantha if I were u I would dispute the transaction. You don't want to end up in September with no dress and out whatever you paid for it. I definitely don't trust AA.
@Sarah - I doubt it. The attorney letter said they tried to restructure and failed; at least, that's what it looks like it says. It's a bit blurry on my phone. Time will tell, though.
I would also think Disney will contract elsewhere. I'm sure AA owes Disney money at this point, though, so who knows how quickly Disney will find another seller, or if they will at all if they weren't profiting.
Awful manager also mentioned the possibility of a liquidation sale. We will have to watch to see if they open that to the public or just other boutiques!
I am glad a still have a few months until my wedding I just feel awful for the people who have weddings in a couple weeks and still can't get their dresses. No answer to the email; and phone calls.
