Alcohol for the wedding

So FH and I are trying to budget for the wedding. Our venue is letting us provide the alcohol rather than using theirs which would tack on $5,000 (they don't do consumption bars). We are looking at 180 people if everybody comes. Would this be enough alcohol? Only 70-80 people coming drink, and most...

We decided 3 kegs of beer, about seven cases of each wine, and three bottles each of the same three liquor choices. The wine we can give away and the local liquor store said they will refund only kegs.

I would highly suggest that even if your venue allows shots, don't do them. A lot of venues ban them since the likelihood of people getting really drunk increases significantly when shots are available and you don't want that mess at your wedding,

Just get some vodka lol I don't know why you're so resistant. People don't always drink the same thing at weddings that they would other times. It's better to have it in case.

Bartender here ! Out of a keg, you can get 165 12oz beers. So basically with only one keg, your guests can only have 2-3 beers each, depending on how many will drink beer instead of wine/liquor. I'd get 2 kegs, personally. People come to party, so you definitely don't want to run out of beer. As far as the liquor, you should throw in some vodka too.
