My fiance is anti alcohol where I am pro. We are only allowed beer and wine.. He said people don't need to drink on our day and get drunk. I think people will need a little but of alcohol in there system that way everyone will dance and socialize more. Its mainly my family that will be drinking as his is very Involved in church. And well mine are not. So the questions pros and cons of having alcohol at the reception and if you had a wedding with no alcohol or attended one let me know how it was! Thank you

This wedding planning has sucked. Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. And now it seems more of a stressor at some times. We are literally less then a month away and there's a couple things im not for sure we are gonna be able to afford. So its been stressing.

Honestly, if you want people to dance, provide alcohol. Wedding are awkward for a lot of guests. You don’t have to provide hard alcohol, but at least beer & wine.

Yes, I would have alcohol as an option for those who want it. I believe in allowing adults (21+) to make their own decision about having an alcoholic beverage or not. My bff’s reception was in their church hall. They had no dancing and no alcohol (her church’s rules). It was ok-ish. But, due to that, it felt like an elementary school party with punch to drink, instead of a mature wedding celebration. It’s doable if that your plan.
