Aisle Runner on brick?

Kat_, on May 9, 2019 at 9:28 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4
Hello everyone! I’m curious if anyone has ever used an aisle runner on brick before? Our aisle is brick and I’ll need a runner so it doesn’t snag my dress (and I just love the look).

Im thinking a black one to go with our October wedding theme!

The first thing that came to mind after reading your post was a black lace runner. Just a few yards from the fabric store would do, plus lace would probably lay better on the brick.

A friend of mine used a heavy fabric runner for their aisle because they were going to run into a similar situation. They were getting married on the front steps of a mansion, and she was going to be coming up the main walkway which was concrete.

    Hi there Smiley smile

It is a beautiful look! What style/theme is your wedding?

I would agree with the previous poster, heavy thick material for a carpet aisle may be best if placed over the brick to reduce the risk of slips!

Do you have any more ideas on what aisle decor you would like?
