Airforce couple planning an out of state wedding help

Hello all! My fiancé and I just got engaged a couples days ago. We are stationed at Columbus AFB in Mississippi but we would like to get married in Seattle, WA where we are from. I’ve decided on Labor Day weekend 2020 because like my fiancé, many of our friends and family are military and will have that weekend off. Does anyone have any advice of where to start? We would like to have an affordable wedding so getting a full time wedding planner might be out of the question.

I would start with deciding on a budget and figuring out your guest list. Then you can start searching for venues. Will you be able to visit Seattle to look at venues?

You’ll have to do a lot of online research to pick out possible venues and vendors and then fly out there and see everything in person to make your choices

LB innovation is very good affordable event planning. An they don’t have to be full time. An they travel.

We've looked at 3 venues for fun a couple months ago and I'm the MOH for my cousins wedding in Seattle next month so i am familiar with the venues she looked at!
