Airbrushed makeup worth it?

So I have started my search for hair/MUAs and had a few questions about it. I've never had my makeup prpfessionally done before. What is the benefit of having it airbrushed instead of traditional makeup? Is it worth the added expense? I am having my wedding in fl so there will be some heat and...

So I have started my search for hair/MUAs and had a few questions about it. I've never had my makeup prpfessionally done before. What is the benefit of having it airbrushed instead of traditional makeup? Is it worth the added expense? I am having my wedding in fl so there will be some heat and humidity involved if that makes a difference. Any advice or info would be awesome!

    I did trials for both and I have never like airbrush before because I didn't feel like it covered enough. I also wanted highlighting and contouring. I ended up choosing a MUA that is doing airbrush because they also use concealers and color correcting products before applying the airbrush. This made a huge difference in how I felt about the coverage of it. It also lasted longer when I got a little sweaty and I didn't get shinny with it. Below is a comparison between my regular makeup trial (left) and my Airbrush (Right).

    I chose airbrush because I like natural looking makeup. I did a trial for engagement photos and prefer it over traditional makeup.
