Airbnb for myself and bridesmaids- food ideas??

TANYA , on February 3, 2018 at 9:36 PM Posted in Planning 0 7
I am renting a nice house on airbnb for myself and my bridesmaids for the night before the wedding and for the morning of (to get ready). I am trying to brainstorm as too what I can take for us to eat the night before for dinner, as well as breakfast and lunch/snacks for the day of.

The house is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from home for most of us. It's also in Baja California, Mexico.

I am a grazer, when i travel (or am away from home) I have to have snacks on me. I want to supply the house with snacks for us all and something easy to cook/prepare for these meals.

I don't think going out to eat would be a good option bc I think we will all be wanting to stay on the cheaper side of things. Also I am not too familiar with the area and the local restaurants.

Any one else go this route and supply food for their wedding party's dinner and breakfast? What are good snacks/meals? I was thinking fruit and maybe stuff to prepare sandwiches? I really don't know what else. I was thinking pasta but I think that might be to bloating?? I need ideas for light meals that are easy to prepare for like 7 people.

Thanks!!

For breakfast- english muffins, eggs, some veggies to throw in a scramble or you could do an egg bake- spinach mushroom, or something. Juice and fruit.

Dinner maybe a taco bar, or stuff for filling salads, where people could decide what they want to put in, or DIY pizzas are super easy!!!

We also got married around the same area (primo tapia). How many people will you have staying the night before and day of?

We had about 30, so for friday night, we hired a taquero. For saturday, I got bagels, orange juice, fruit, eggs, and coffee ... and champagne. For Saturday lunch, people went to eat lobster or tacos or ordered pizza, I was not involved in that. For sunday, we got a gorditas guy, everyone raved about that. Let me know if you need info on any vendors.

My mom likes to pre-make breakfast casseroles for things like this. You can do a healthy egg casserole and also a French toast or cinnamon bun casserole. You make them the night or two before and then just pop them in the oven in the am!
