Jacqueline, on July 14, 2014 at 9:41 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

My name is Elizabeth and my fiance and I got engaged this past December. I am now looking for an affordable wedding venue that run below $110 per person.. Im located close to Westchester county. Anybody know of any places they would like to recommend? Thanks

Where in NY? I'm near Albany. There are TONS, I'd need a little more info about how formal or casual you want it to be.

Hello everyone! I'm located by westchester county. I'm open minded to anything that's roughly no more than 15 miles away. Formal wedding would be nice.

Bear Mountain in Rockland County. They have a couple different sites for reception/ceremony, and they list all of their prices online.

I'm not being unsupportive, but when I just read the title of your post I burst out laughing. Once you said $110 a head, it was much more reasonable. Check Liberty Park in Jersey City, or even the Science Museum. Hoboken might have some cool places with great views. Brooklyn is pretty hip these days, so that might be tough, but I guarantee there are some cool places in Queens.

Now, we're having our wedding a mere 20 miles from our home, but the costs went down about $15K because we're getting married just that much farther from DC. Try PNC Arts Center, or McLoone's in Sea Bright NJ. Great venues and a whole lot cheaper than NYC. Sea Bright has awful DUI laws and very few hotel options. While I have absolutely NO recent information about this place, there's the Shore Casino in Atlantic Highlands, is a really great sunset views and people can catch the ferry from Manhattan to get there. http://www.theshorecasino.com/index.html I have no idea what they charge, or the quality of the food, but I used to live in this area and it's close to NYC and there are so many great options.

We are practically neighbors! I live in the North Colonie school district.
