Adding bling/sparkle to wedding dress

So I said yes to my dress yesterday and I’m completely in love with it! The only thing is that I wanted my dress to have some sparkle to it. The lady mentioned adding some white sequins to the lace detailing on top to keep it subtle but to also help it catch the light and in pictures. I tried on belts with it, but it didn’t look right with the lace. I am going to talk to some local seamstresses to see if it is even possible. But I wanted some others opinions if anyone else has done this with theirs? I am worried it won’t look like I imagined and may look a little prom-ish. I have a year to do so, so plenty of time. Everyone thinks it looks pretty as is, and maybe i should just dress it up with accessories. What do you think? Has anyone tried and loved it even more?
