Adding a train?

Maureen, on May 7, 2019 at 6:22 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
So my dream dress has always been a ball gown with a long train, and I found my dress and I absolutely love it, but want a train really bad. I’m unsure how adding a train would work, especially with tulle. Has anyone done this before? The dress has details within the tulle that I also don’t want to lose.

How about just a cathedral length veil?

I would just wear a cathedral veil. It’s a beautiful dress.

I agree, I think doing the cathedral veil would be the best of both worlds!

Congratulations on finding your dress, Maureen!

    It's beautiful on you!

I would agree with the previous posters, a cathedral length veil may be the perfect option to give you the look of a train, without having to alter the dress!

Do you think this is a suitable alternative and fulfill your vision? Or would you rather have the train on the actual dress?

I did end up getting a cathedral veil. It goes very well with the dress and has a nice lace that really compliments the whole outfit
