I have a rather traditional wedding dress. It wasn't what I originally thought I wanted, but we found it at a really great deal, and when I put it on I felt pretty, like a bride! The only thing I would change is adding some color. Probably navy blue. I've been thinking about how to add color, but am having some trouble.
We are on a tight budget and tight timeline, which means DIY, which I don't mind at all, but I have really no ideas. I thought about adding a dark lace shirt as pictured, but I don't like how it looks.
I am thinking of replacing the lace up ribbon in the back to navy instead of white. I also purchased some navy blue flowers, and thought about adding them to the bottom, but I can't decide if I should or how to place them.
Nothing about us is traditional. My fiancee and I have been together 8 years and have 2 children together. I feel I want our wedding day to represent use, and we are not traditional. Ideas?
