Actual ceremony

Our ceremony is only going to have us in it. No guests friends or family. How would we go about the ceremony despite the fact that we will celebrate on the cruise

It’s not really clear what you’re asking. You’d go about the ceremony the same exact way everyone else does, minus the part where you invite guests.

Thanks. That's great news. I thought it was going to be overly complicated.

You will have to have an ordained officiant & 2 witnesses at the very least in order for the marriage license to be legal. Other than that, no one else is really necessary.

If you wanted to get around that so you can celebrate on the cruise together, you could always get married at the courthouse with a couple friends as witnesses before the cruise then "re-new" your vows to each other alone on the cruise.

We are doing courthouse first and having the actual ceremony on the cruise.
