Hi Ladies!

I am having THE hardest time thinking of an accent color to go with purple. The purple that I chose for my bridesmaids dresses is called Majestic (from the dessy goup- alfred sung is the designer). My wedding is in October so I was thinking of a fall theme so I first thought that I'd accent it with a deep orange or rust color. However, that seems sooo BORING. Anyone have any other suggestions?

It's funny I am trying to figure out if I should just do all shades of purple or accent it with another color, and I keep seeing purple and green. My sister's favorite color is green, and of course, it is the one color I almost hate!! I see it everywhere when I am looking for ideas too!!

I hope you come up with your color palette, I do think the rust one is pretty, and you should go for it if you were thinking of it already!

My second scheme choice was purple and green, like more earthy, i ended up using navy and green..also i loove purple with gold! but you MUST check out this site..has tons of wedding color schemes, i clicked purple for you, and be sure to also click "show older posts" there are a tooon!

Hey Tiffany!
Our wedding is in October also and eggplant is our main color! We are accenting it with green and a deep chocolate brown. We have fabrics like burlap and linens there to make it more of a "natural" feel. So far everything looks great, the only orange / rust we have are in some leaves that we are scattering on the table. I thought the rust/orange seemed really obvious and boring too so maybe this helps!!

Blue (not the more greenish) Teal
