Accent color for Purple (Eggplant) Please help!!

Silver is pretty with dark purple.

A shade of blue could look nice, but it depends on if you want that 'feel' at your wedding.

Yellow is the complementary color to yellow, if you want to go by the color wheel.

Red is also becoming more popular... think those older ladise who wear the red hats... what are they called?

Do you have a favorite flower?

I was at a wedding recently where the main color was eggplant and they accented with green and it was GORGEOUS! Just a thought.

I don't really have a favorite flower... I do like gerber daises though, I think b/c they are so colorful...

I do want to stay away from silver or white as an accent color...

I've attached photos of purple matched with silver (and a lighter purple), blue (plus, a little pink), and yellow.

I was going to say a saefoam green is stunning with that... but the green in the picture above also looks great!

I was going to say gold/rust, hah! I think green works well with it, as mentioned above. I LOVE gray/platinum with it. Very elegent I think.

Sorry hope I didn't offend you! The colors I originally chose were purple/rust/gold, so we are on the same wave length! haha I just wasn't sure if I wanted to go with those colors.

My wedding is going to be Wisteria (david bridal's purple) and green. I am putting splashes of silver with it too. See my inspiration boards on my profile for how the color combinations look.

I don't have any pictures of a wedding with those colors, but I love the color combo! I like the picture posted above with the silver feather broach against the plum color.

This is the closest I could find or purple and rust. Hope it helps

Purple and green is gorgeous so is the orange!

Here is an inspiration board eggplant, gold, rust.

With brown suits would look perfect! or you could add some lighter purples or magenta with it.

The good thing about your choice, is that you can pretty much accent anything with many shades of purple... Yellow, orange, gold, white turqouise, maroon, silver, green, pink, grey, the list goes on. Good luck, and congrats on your wedding!
