I wouldn't consult my FH or anyone for that matter whether I decide to cut, color it or change it. It's my hair to do with what I want. Smiley smile

I completely understand. Is there a particular hairstyle and/or color that your husband prefers you to wear?

He doesn't really care about length as I've had it ever length throughout our relationship. He liked blonde but doesn't like the attention it brings but he met me as a brunette. The last few years I've been blonde but I like changing my hair color Smiley smile

What color/length/style will you have your hair for your wedding?

I'm keeping my hair blonde. I'm thinking either messy updo or half up half down. I'm kind of going for boho vibes something like the photos below.

I wouldn't cut my hair off period, because I know my FH doesn't like short hair at all. To me, it would be disrespectful to do something deliberately that he doesn't like. I get my hair cut and colored with no consultation with FH, but that's because I don't ever really change it haha.

I think it would definitely be inconsiderate to intentionally change your hair to a style that you know your spouse wouldn't like.

I always joke with my FH about chopping my hair, he doesn't like the idea at all. He loves my hair. He would support my decision to cut it if I really wanted to but he knows I really love my long hair..

My husband doesn't like the idea of me cutting off my hair either.

If I were doing a drastic change to my hair like from long to short I would just bring it up to my husband/fiance and see what his opinion is. I would take his response into consideration but in the end its my hair and I have to live with it day in and day out.

I saw a thing the other day saying something like this.

My boyfriend/fiancé/husband/wife is mad because I cut/dyed my hair, so now they won't talk to me.

My best friend is mad because I cut/dyed my hair so now they won't talk to me.

If it is ridiculous for your best friend to be upset, then you should not be okay with your partner getting upset. After all your partner should be your best friend with more intimacy.

all of that said I constantly talk to my husband about what I want or am considering for my hair and such. not because I expect him to like or "approve of" everything I want to do but because I value his opinion as my best friend.

I sure as heck don't ahaha. I had an ex who liked it long and I was like yeah I don't really care aha. I always chop my hair off every year to donate or just to cut it short so it's not really my concern what someone else likes on me appearance wise when I cut it off short for my comfort

This. Heads up to drastic changes but no permission required. I don't need to tell him I'm getting my hair trimmed. I do like for him to warn me when he's shaving his beard off though.
