a very Small, Intimate Ceremony

Tavianna, on January 28, 2020 at 1:15 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 9
Hi, this is my first post ever! Just wanted to see has anyone had or plan on having a very small wedding (Bride, Groom, and maybe no more than 5 guests). Me and my FH decided to do an intimate ceremony now with a big wedding later in the future. We were going to have the ceremony performed at the courthouse but later found a nice outside venue that will be great for amazing photo shots. I’ve decided to not have a big guest list right now because of timing, money management (we’re planning a trip right after), and venue space (no seating/outside). I feel it will eliminate drama between both families and friends, and they will still get a glimpse of the love connection from our photos. Also, we’re having a post-reception dinner at a restaurant and we would like to pay for the food but can’t afford to pay for a big group of people at the moment. Any thoughts or comments on how things went for current wives that went through something similar?

We are doing an intimate wedding as well. It’s going to be a total of 10, including us. We are going to pay for the dinner the night before the ceremony and the dinner of the wedding. I’m about 30 days away from the big day!!!

I think it’ll be very peaceful and you all will have more time to enjoy what matters the most. I have like 2 more weeks to go until my special day. So excited!!!

We had a small wedding, as small as we could anyway (I have 6 siblings LOL). We had an afternoon ceremony and brunch at a restaurant. It was very nice, quiet. It still went by fast! Having a small affair was also great because we could go off to our honeymoon suit and enjoy the night together without being utterly exhausted.

Wow this sounds great that is what im planning to do on july 11 2020 . I almost made the mistake of booking a actual venue for 20 guests but alot of them told me already they can't make it so we just gonna do a nice gazebo and pics on the beach and a 5 star restaurant dinner.

Sounds beautiful! I swear I do not want to be exhausted especially with handling everything on my own, you made some good points.

Sounds perfect to me! I feel that a small ceremony plus dinner (can’t forget about the food lol) can be just as meaningful as a big one.
