I don't really post but I'm at a loss.. So I saw my RSVP list for my bridal shower (I'm a control freak & was being nosy lol) and none of the groomsmen wives are attending. All 6 woman. 6 woman who I've known for the past 15 years & attended every single kid bday party or bridal shower or some...

All 6 woman. 6 woman who I've known for the past 15 years & attended every single kid bday party or bridal shower or some event. We all get together every few months, husbands included to do date night. Just last week I left wrk early (it's tax season I wrk 6 days a week) to attend a baby shower for one of the women.

I'm really at a loss.. Common courtesy ? Friendship? I am wrong for being pissed?

Maybe they have something else going on? I would be annoyed or disappointed for sure, but not everyone is able to attend those events. :/

Have they spoken to you or explained why they couldn't attend? Maybe they haven't RSVP'd yet?

I am sorry. I would be upset as well. I am also another one that goes above and beyond for my friends and it does hurt when they don't reciprocate.

I would be displeased as well, but like you said, many have kids. it can be so hard to make plans for the kids to be taken care of to attend things that may be one of the reasons.

I wouldn't take it too personally. it's a downer I know, but it happens.
