9 weeks to go. Any other May brides stressing?

Invites. Invites are stressing me out!

Oh! And our vows. We have a meeting with our DJ this month. We have to decide on our cake flavor and I have a few diy's that have to be done outside because its spray paint. So pretty much everything. it's getting so close!

I JUST got my invites out on wednesday for our celebration. I'm checking my RSVPs daily already lol. I'm impatient.

Just saw your second comment. Lol We have to meet with our DJ too. No contract yet and I'm sweating.

Ikr? He's a friend of FH's but I'm insisting on a contract. Blargh. I need like a week off work to get this all done!

Im not too stressed yet, but I know it's about to get super stressful. We are working on getting invites out for this week. We also have to book our shore excursions. We plan to get the marriage license a month out, so we still have time on that. I have a DIY I need to start. Also my dress should be in this week! Then I can schedule fittings. Hair trial is end of the month.

Definitely book the DJ ASAP. Sounds like your pretty much on track otherwise.

Eta: definitely get a contract even if he's a friendor.

You just reminded me to call my stylist for my hair trial. Ha. NOW I'm on track.

Still don't have a photographer, our original photographer cancelled on us. =( It's stressful! I plan to find meet with some potential photographers this week though.

Other than that, it's the little things that I need to get together! Happy planning fellow May brides!! =)

Photographers stressed me out. I am on my 3rd photographer and can finally relax about it.

My 1st seemed amazing in the beginning so we scheduled our engagement photos with her. As the date for the engagement shoot got closer her communication started to diminish. Which didn't bother me at first. My wedding was a year away at that point and it was wedding season for her. On the day of she showed up and bad mouthed the other photographers from our venue. She told us details of how another photographer was "fired" from the venue and how our venue didn't pay her enough compared to what she gets paid to shoot at other places. Not info we needed to know. Our disk showed up in the mail late and completely addressed to the wrong person. How can I trust you to get details right if you can't get my name right? So on to the next...

After 2 weeks of choosing our next photographer she decided she was moving across the country so that brought us to #3

She is so perfect!! I've met with her a few times already and am grateful to have found her. Things happen for a reason I guess.

I'm stressing out about bridal party gifts. FH brought both of his guys a watch LAST YEAR and always rubs it in that he is done with gifts. Thanks! I want something to express how grateful I am. I really just feel like I am overthinking it and just need to settle on things.

I'm stressing about invitations too! I'm printing ours and impatiently waiting for the paper and envelopes to arrive. Once those are out this week I've got a couple DIYs to do, I need to figure out our transportation (just the BP-guests are covered), work on our ceremony and vows, and decide on parent gifts. The good news: I ordered all of our F&B this week including cake, I've got my fittings and hair/makeup trial scheduled and I found my shoes this week. The GREAT news: I tried on my dress and it fit perfectly. They said not to lose any more weight so all I have to do is maintain! I'm so relieved I don't have to worry about losing weight.

I am not too stressed. I do need to meet with a jeweler soon to fix my ring. I'm waiting for the florist to give me a date she can show me a sample bouquet. We started getting some rsvp back. The only thing that may cause problems soon is FH'S Mother. She lives 12 hours drive away and is saying she doesn't know if she can make it bla bla bla. So we'll see how that plays out.

I'm totally freaking out! I feel like we don't have anything done.

My invites go out tomorrow. But my damn dress is still not in!

But my shower is a week from today, and I am so overwhelmed by my friend's generosity when I creep the registry, I feel like I may cry!!

Waiting on rsvps. Cake tasting next weekend. Just nervous in general.

Invitations are out. RSVPs starting to come in. We still need to get FH's attire, most other wedding things are already taken care of or can't be taken care of until closer to the date. Our honeymoon flights and hotel are booked, but we're still waiting on his passport renewal to come in. It's getting so close and everything is starting to feel real now!

Oh yeah, I'm stressing. My invites are out, so we've started getting RSVPs which is great. We're working on the little details like decor, music selections, alcohol, figuring out the ceremony timeline...

I did wake up the other day out of a dead sleep worrying about a reception detail.

Invitations went out on Saturday. Cake and dinner tasting coming up this and next week. Finalizing music, working on seating chart, bridal party gifts and a whole host of other things. Otherwise all major vendors booked, honeymoon booked, bride and groom attire done. I need to get the most important thing - marriage license. And quite frankly I'm getting to the point of being "over it".

We're waiting on RSVPs to trickle in and working on small details. Our officiant has our readings. We have to do our vows and a shot list. We have a music doc that we add songs we like/don't like to. FH and I still need to go look at groomsman attire. Second dress fitting is next week. Working on RD choices and a groom's cake for FH. Also, need to buy the guest book and card box.

Gonna get started on invites this week to get out soon, working on diy centerpieces. Found a hairstylist this weekend so gotta just send a deposit for that........ Need to start thinking of music and writing down a photography shot list. Gotta get FH to the jewelry store to order my band and pick out his! *breathe* we can do this girls!
