We have about 9 months to go as well. And what we’re doing is planning by order of priority. Take your top 5 and pick and choose vendors/pay things that way. It’s easier for us cause we were able to see what was on the bottom of our financial list and splurge in areas. Hope that helps

WW has a handy checklist under "Planning Tools". You might find that helpful.

I started with the checklist found in WW, but also recreated one for me to keep in me in-line with all our preparations. I'm sure you're further along than you think. Don't stress, I basically planned our entire wedding starting in February (took Covid months off - March - June) and here we are 4 days prior and we're ready.

More than anything I would look for dresses and venues now, since a lot of brides moved their 2020 weddings to 2021. They are all probably dress shopping and most of them probably took up most of the popular venues in your area. Once you get those you can easily build from there, I started to plan my wedding at the end of Aug for a November 7 wedding lol partly due to COVID partly due to procrastination lol

You can follow the checklist on WeddingWire if that helps, I didn't follow it cause it included a lot of stuff I didn't need but it was a good guide.
