    Hey there!
It's good to have hope and faith and keep planning, especially in these uncertain times.
You are allowed to celebrate and be happy that you are getting married!
Don't let anyone take your joy, follow your heart and trust your gut. I had my June 6th wedding as planned, everything was fine. Yours will be too!
Hugs to you and congratulations! I'll keep checking on you! You've got this! ❤🙏💍👰

I’m planning for a 7/31/21 wedding. It’s scary not knowing the uncertain but like others said a lot can happen in a year. Hopefully July is pushed out far enough where Covid will at the very least be manageable.

Im 7-10-21 too! I am planning as well. We are right dap in the middle of summer! I feel more safe planning it for July than a spring or fall wedding!

Right now im dealing with photographer and wedding dresses. So far I have booked my hall, decorator, cater, photobooth and have started buying my center pieces.

    What do you have booked?

I would keep planning until your venue tells you otherwise. Mine is scheduled for February 2021 with about 30 people and I’m continuing as if everything is normal. I would drive myself insane if I thought about it any other way. If anything, you can scale your numbers back and do something small if you don’t feel it’s appropriate.

Also, don’t let anyone tell you differently! This is your day to celebrate your love. It’ll be a good story for our grandkids in the future 😉

AH! your making me feel behind now haha. I just started looking at dresses last week. I have gone to 4 salons but and i thought i wanted something more hip fitting and i found an A line dress that I love last night but I have another appointment Sunday so well see how that goes before I say yes to the dress.

I am hoping a year out time will change. Just have to stay positive. Are you having issues booking things? I had had 2 caters call me back in April saying another bride was moving out to my date and asked if im still interested. I passed because they weren't my number one. We finally booked them like 2 weeks ago! One day I feel behind on things do you? Like my friends all say they had all the big vendors booked a year out. which i dont lol but with covid i feel like i need to move.

The venue I picked comes with the food I few people I know love the food so we still have to see what they offer and I hope the food is good. Yes I'm trying to stay positive so I keep planning but Its scary times I hope that we both can carry on with beautiful wedding. I found my dress at kleinfeld big blow out sale and it didn't need any changes just have to try to keep my weight down. I hope you find your dream dress. I feel that way two everyone keeps telling me how fast I'm moving and next week it will be a year till the big day and I feel like we lost so much time.

Ugh so jealous! Do you live in NY or did you fly out to go? My dad is currently living/ working in NJ and thought about going to look at the dresses. However, hes only in NJ till October so i would have nowhere to stay for fittings. I am in Ohio so ive been looking at shops around my city first.

I feel the same way! Everyone like oh your ahead of schedule when no one understand because they arent planning. Things are booked and I dont have a bunch of money to drop on whatever I want haha its like frustrating because your trying to stay on the budget and they dont get that 2020 brides are/have moved to 2021 also. Im just doing 2 things at a time in the week. My issue is i dont really know what I want and keep looking for ideas or inspiration. I dont really know what im doing either lol but i love coming on wedding wire to see what other brides are doing.

I live in NY and they have there big sales every February so I was online for like 10 hrs. but it was so worth it. I see people get there dresses from a far and do fitting and everything while there here and then come back out to get the dress. So many brides moved there wedding back so you got to move a little fast because you are now battling the new brides and the brides who had to move there wedding back. Its so hard but its so much fun this is my first time talking on wedding wire so I'm glad I did it nice to see what is happening with other brides.

Every couple must decide for themselves what is best for them. I am getting married in August and I’m adapting but honestly, changing very little overall. It is just my personal opinion but I really do believe Covid is here and it’s going to continue to be here for a while so it’s really a question of how much do you want to change your life and plans for it. Personally, very little is the answer for me. I’m so excited to get married and start our life together. Covid isn’t going to stop me from doing that.

You’ve got a whole year and 8 days (it’s my birthday, so it’ll be an awesome day), so I say keep planning. My date is October 24th and I’ve still been planning normally though I have started to talk more about a back up plan. We’re still getting married on that date no matter. I already have our bands ordered with it engraved. But if things don’t open up more, I’ll have an intimate ceremony this October 24th and probably plan the bigger celebration for our one year anniversary.

My wedding will be on 07/15/2021 and I am still planning as a lot is still getting booked. the only thing I am doing is assuring that I have insurance and that my vendors will not charge me a fee in case I need to change dates because of the pandemic and making sure it is in my contract as well for safety measures.
