7 days until I am under 600 days!

I remember when my countdown was like 800 now its only 230! Or something like that. It flys by!

I totally understand how you feel.. originally we were getting married on 05/20/2012.. but I got impatient and moved the date up

@Lauren- That's awesome, I wish we could do that. Originally we planned for next September, but we realized it would not work, financially and also with where we want to go for our honeymoon. May month would work better, but next May is just too soon due to finances.

Well, my concern was finances too and I voiced that to FH's parents but they have stressed over and over they'll help.. So, I'm almost letting them plan it but not completely. lol

Hang in there. You only have a few choices. You can either move the date up and get married, but not as elegantly as you've dreamed, or leave it where it is now and just wait it out. It'll get here eventually.

I know how you feel! i got engaged on 11-11-09 and we're getting married 11-11-11 - i have been planning and picking things out for almost a year now but i feel like it's too soon to start spending money...it's driving me nuts!

I'm still in the 700s, but considering the fact that I have almost nothing done, I'm okay with this! Lol, congrats on being on the brink of the 600s! How much planning have you gotten done? I have lots and lots of ideas right now, not much else.

Hey, I started at 500, and now its like 361 lol something like that!.... What helps days go faster is by not looking at the countdown everyday lol... Atleast when i would look at it everyday...it was taking for ever lol.... and now whenevr I look at it....its flying lol =)....

Thanks everyone for your support and advice! Some days I am totally fine with waiting because I would really like a May wedding, but other times it's very frustrating when I see that countdown slowly getting smaller. I mean it's already September, and we've only been engaged 4 months, so time does fly when you see it that way.

We haven't bought anything for the wedding yet, and we will do a lot of DIY, so right now I'm just getting ideas, looking into photographers, dresses, and centerpieces. I was thinking we will start checking out venues next spring. So that's something to look forward to. Thanks again!

Give it some time.. it will FLY by.. i can't believe we've almost been engaged a year (in december) its really good to pre-plan, then you'll know exactly what you want and when the time is right BAM! it'll be done in one quick swoop
