5 days until my shower and nothing is marked bought on our registries

A lot of people are last minute shoppers. I wouldn't worry about it!

I wouldn't worry about it. Many people will probably buy the day before or day of. It really just depends on your guests! For example, my shower is in September and I have 11 items already purchased. It depends on who's invited!

My shower is a brunch on Saturday morning, so I guess I was a bit surprised when I checked after this weekend and saw still nothing. I mean I grateful for everyone to come and celebrate with me, but it is kind of the point of a shower lol. I just hope it ends up being a fun morning for everyone.

If they are anything like me they may not pick up anything until they are in route to the shower. *hangs head* biggest last minute shopper of all time

I was worried about the same thing. Don't worry it will all work out. Most people bought theirs a day or 2 before the shower.

I'm really bad for getting something on the way to shower. Usually end up writing in the card in the parking lot

I'm sure it's just last-minute shoppers! Maybe they are waiting for pay-day on Friday? Or some could be just gifting you a gift card or cash, which is a little out of the ordinary for a shower, but not unheard of. Just stop looking! Then at least you'll be somewhat surprised at your shower over what you did get rather than knowing beforehand exactly which items to expect that day.

I think I had people get gifts from a different store after seeing what was on our registry because we received a lot more gifts than were shown as "purchased". We did get gift receipts from some stores we didn't register for as well as a lot of personalized items. Don't fret! It's not about the gifts anyway, right?

Yeah. I guess I'm a planner, but a lot of people are more on the go type. I think it's a good idea to stop looking and just be surprised with whatever happens. Thanks for easing the fear of everyone coming with no gifts everyone.

A lot of people are last minute shoppers or maybe you are getting giftcards. I also got a lot of non-registry things for my shower: Like a sign with our wedding data, a rug saying "Welcome to the Smith's" and embroidered towels from my grandma. Some of the best gifts are non registry things.

Don't look at the registry for the next 5 days!

Okay. I promise everyone! I won't look anymore and I will definitely give an update on what happens. Whether it's 6 toasters, a bunch of amazing non registry items, a miracle of no duplicates, or some crazy off the wall things =P.

I had three things marked off as bought on my shower registry. People still came with gifts some of which were on my registry but never marked off. Don't stress it! I'm sure no one forgot!

Also, not everyone remembers to have the sales associate scan the registry paper unfortunately.

Check back Saturday an hour before the shower. I'm on to buy a gift the day of the event. And btw..stop checking it lol

That's something I didn't even think about teach7. I know most people give money at the wedding, but I guess I should make sure I do mark everything off that I do end up getting.

I almost always buy shower gifts the day before the shower. A lot of people do it this way, so just relax and know that your shower will be wonderful!
