How are you doing? Have you decided to go through with it? Do you have everything planned and ready to go? Any last minute things stressing you out? Let’s make sure we all don’t forget anything.

Hahaha....we're in Texas, so pretty much settled on eloping and throwing a big event on our anniversary. Our venue won't let us out of our contract anyway. How are you?!!! Hanging in there?

I'm actually getting married August 8th so the weekend before the 15th. Here's where we are right now:
Live in Florida but originally booked venue in our home state of NJ. Booked our venue 2 years ago. On may 15th we decided to postpone our reception to August of 2021 and started planning a small, family only wedding at my mom's house in NJ. Sent out the change the date cards and informal invites to our family with information on the new plan. The next day we saw the gov of NJ decided to impose a travel ban on people from FL traveling to NJ. We are no longer sure if we are going to be able to get married at my mom's house because we cannot take the time off to self quarantine for 14 days. Then we started thinking of plan c. Plan c is get married at my fiance's parents house in Delaware. And plan d is get married here in FL on the beach just us and live stream it to our family's. At this point we are just kind of waiting....and to be honest it sucks not knowing what's gonna happen. It sucks like a lot 🙄

Lol your GIF is hilarious! I have family flying in from Texas to Indiana. We are going through with it but will have masks. Our venue also will not let us out and we would lose out on thousands with our other vendors!

I would see about keeping anyone flying in from Texas from travelling. They're saying the strain from Houston is a mutation that's somehow even more contagious. We just decided to bite the bullet money wise because Texas is getting really bad really fast.

Yeah it's bad. Not Arizona bad, but the hospital where my father in law works has a full icu. He's been told to postpone his procedures - he's a cancer surgeon- unless they're absolutely necessary. Houston's biggest hospital, one of the biggest in the world Texas Medical Center that almost has its own zip code, has a full icu. Texans may need to quarantine upon leaving at this rate - it's bad enough we've opted for all our family in Texas to stay put.
