Congrats on the upcoming wedding! I kept thinking I was forgetting a bunch of stuff so I made a check list which ended up being several pages long lol. It did include a packing list though which was super long. There's a really good checklist that wedding wire has that really helped me remember small things that I hadn't thought of

Wow, I can't even believe I can participate in a post like this. 4 months! Where has the time gone! I have a feeling I'm going to have to hang on tight after Christmas is over, because it's going to be a wild and crazy ride to April 19th!

Right now, as in today, literally right this second lol, I am linking up with a calligrapher to get our invites addressed and filling out the packet of information for our DJ. I have just scheduled my hair and makeup trial for February. I need to decide whether or not we will be doing an Uber Events code, I'll do that tomorrow.

We go for our tasting in January, and have our final details meeting with the venue in February. I start alterations on my dress in February. Bach weekend is in Disney, in March.

Men are ordering their suits. Bridesmaid dresses have already been ordered and 2/3 have come in.

I just decided, after my dress was ordered and delivered custom to my measurements in sneakers, that I want to be in heels for the ceremony So I have to get those ordered and schedule a dress "try-on" to see how they work together. Still need to buy my jewelry, but at least we both have wedding rings now! We also have Qalo silicone rings we are taking on our honeymoon.

Will be paying off our honeymoon with our bonus checks we get at work for Christmas. We also need to start the process of getting new passports for our honeymoon, like yesterday.

In January, I'm going to start buying all the little extras for the day of and the honeymoon.

Head is spinning thinking about all of this lol sorry for the rant

I appreciate the rant. I am not nearly has prepared as you are. My mom is the wedding planner and she says everything is fine. I can't help but worry. The groomsmen have a deadline to get fitting done by Dec 29th. I am waiting on 3 bridesmaid to send money for dresses ( I am buying them together to ensure the color is the same). My honeymoon is almost booked just gotta find extra money to put towards that.

Yay almost 4 months to go - April 13th we just got our wedding rings for Black Friday saved big time. Just ordered 2 out of 3 bridesmaid dresses... also 2 weeks ago had our cake tasting. I believe most of the BIG things have been booked... except our passports gotta get on that oh & wedding invites will order by the end of the month ...haven’t decided on a honeymoon... maybe I’m not done with the big stuff ugh!!

Next I’m going to start ordering decorations for the reception & ceremony- signs, cake topper, centerpieces got most of those bought. I need to get moving on stuff. Been trying to stay as stress free as we can. It’s worked for the most part ha.

Im getting so excited that’s it’s coming up finally but nervous...

Yay!!! I am suppose to secure my caterer today...my parents are paying so I am waiting on them. My cake tasting will be in January. I still need to get our passports as well. I may have to pay for express (do you get these in your Maiden name right?)

We are doing a 4 night cruise. It isn't booked yet but we are in agreement this is our honeymoon lol.

My mom is handling all of the decor! I am just relaxing until maybe February lol

I’m hyphenating my name ... so I would use my maiden name... we are still undecided on our honeymoon. We were thinking a cruise but neither of us have been. Also thinking of just a tropical place for 4 or 5 days like Bahamas.

I wish I had someone doing my whole decor that would be super helpful. I’m just getting things here & there though.

I hope & dont dont hope these 4 months go by fast ha. I’m excited for the day but still got a lot to do... but can’t get stressed about it.

I am hyphenating my name as well but I am nervous about the passport part lol. Cruises are more cost effective in my opinion.

I just had a big snag in my bridesmaid dresses that I originally wanted. I am so stressed. I have been searching on Etsy all morning.

Ladies relax and breath take one task at a time try not to overwhelm yourselves and dont be afraid to ask for help. Our day is special not because of the decorations but because of the man God has chosen for us, if something is out of place remember your reasoning for walking down the aisle. Blessing to everyone

April 27th!!-- Trying to figure out a honeymoon destination I have the big vendors booked already. Just need to start working on the centerpieces and order some small signs for decor. It's approaching fast!

It is coming fast 138 days I think!!! The honeymoon has been a hassle lol

I am worrying about alterations for my bridal party, paying for decor, still paying for the venue, selecting the meals etc..

I still feel like I’m missing something though

April 13th! Time flew by and is going to continue to fly! A bit overwhelmed. I think I’m forgetting a lot of little details and the money just keeps adding up.
Has anyone gotten their marriage license yet or know when they will be getting it?
