4 days?!

Our wedding is April 25th, and we are keeping the date, although it will look much different. We've rescheduled our 275 guest wedding to June 27th, changed venues, and completely overhauled our plans.
After a few weeks of being REALLY upset, I'm finally feeling a little excited. This is not at all what I wanted in our wedding, but I'm walking away married to the man of my dreams and I couldn't ask for better. There's a beautiful park a couple miles from our home with a stone bridge, we will have our parents, officiant (who is actually a groomsman) the best man, and my 2 maid of honors. The girls are going to come over Friday night and we are picking up take out Mexican food, watching bad movies, and doing our nails in my living room. Saturday after the ceremony at the park, we are having lunch and cake at my house, and then he and I are staying the night at a local boutique hotel who needs the business right now especially. Our plan is to pick up dinner from a local steakhouse, and eat our first dinner as husband and wife in the jacuzzi.
These may not be the plans we expected, but we all have to make the best of things. It feels so good to finally be excited again.

I'm glad to see you have rescheduled for June and have hopes of it actually happening! We only have 100 guests, but we rescheduled our April 18th wedding to June 20th. I'm hoping it will work out!

I love everything about this!!! Making the best of the situation is all you can do I rescheduled my wedding as well I’ll be getting married in my parents back yard with a tent and some catered food I’m actually most excited because I love red velvet cake and wanted that on my wedding date but it wasn’t an option so now I get to order my red velvet cake and marry my best friend! Making the most of every situation is the best thing you can do my parents have always said it’s not about the wedding it’s about the marriage! All the best to you!!

Congrats!!! Sounds like you have turned a sucky situation into something beautiful! So glad you can still make your day special and include the ones you love the most!! I pray things start to re-open and somewhat get better. I realize this virus may always be around now, but getting things rolling again will be nice! I wish you the best and I hope by June you can have your wedding celebration with everyone you love! Smiley heart
