We're officially one year out from the wedding! We got engaged on the 4th of July last year, and I must say, this year has gone by super quickly. We have all of our vendors under contract (minus cake, which will happen in January) and I'm currently on the hunt for my dress. I know once those two things are done, I'll be itching even more for the big day! Haha. Where are my other 7.11.20 brides at? How far are you in your planning?

We are getting engagement photos in August and hiring a DJ soon! Funny enough I’m also a teacher! 😂

Our venue comes with a caterer so we are set there. We are getting ready to head on vacation this week so I figured I would address it the weekend after we return. I do know which photographer I want, I would like to get her booked. We have been debating on a band versus DJ so I’m not sure a final decision on that yet. After photographer that’s my next item.

Nice about the caterer! I know I was so paranoid that someone would come up and book the photographer that I really wanted that I booked them probably 2 weeks after signing our venue contract. Haha. Hope you enjoy your vacation!

Same! For the longest time I just didn't want to plan. I think it's because of our long engagement, everything just seems so drawn out and I'm just ready to get married haha.
But now that we're hitting different milestones I will admit I'm getting a bit more excited. I don't think the full excitement will hit until this winter when planning will pick up and I'll actually have to sit down and do a ton of planning haha.
