With the wedding approaching, 7 months away, I probably will be asking a lot of questions and looking for help and advice !! so WOW, veils cost this much... lol we picked up my daughters gown last night, it's a Stella York and it's just so beautiful. So of course, they starting popping veils on her head and of course the one that we loved the most and felt matched beautifully was 350.00... Do we shop around, gamble on ordering online, where do you brides buy your veils from. I've looked on Etsy, but I'm so afraid that it won't match the gown.. What should we do ?? We do have the gown home until her alterations begin in June. Again, thanks for any suggestions!!

I don't recommend going to cheap on veils;I've read many BAMs about brides choosing to get cheap veils that end up getting torn to shreds and ripped. I was even questioned why I spent a lot on my veil, and my veil didn't get a single tear. Quality matters.

For my previous marriage I had my mo. Make my veil. We got all the supplies at michaels craft store. And it was better quality and looked better than anything I found in store .

DIY. It’s very simple and easy to match. Just do some research on Pinterest and YouTube. Tulle is so cheap and you can add anything you want to make it one of a kind.

I ordered mine off Etsy. It's chapel length and was only $48.00.

I also bought a Stella York gown and went with the finger tip Veil. My MOH paid for it without me knowing the price initially .... it was 280! It’s a lot and I probably wouldn’t have paid that much . It is gorgeous though.

I actually don't think $350 is that bad. Sure shop around, but if nothing comes close, just get the veil everyone loves!

My Bianca veil just arrived yesterday and I am in love. Its so beautiful and well-made. I'm at work, I'll post pics later. It was $110..so worth it. Its a soft pale blush with matching sequined lace.

    Yeah some are that much.

I am having mine made by a local person that makes them to order. I am doing an elbow length veil with a 3/4 inch satin ribbon edge, it is 75.00.

    You can absolutely shop around.

My veil was $400. I honestly could not tell you what type of veil it is or anything about it. I purchased it from the same shop that I bought my dress from.
