31 days away! Any advice for last minute details?

Julianasantos, on August 6, 2019 at 7:49 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 1 12
The clock is ticking! We are officially 1 month away from our wedding date. I feel like I don’t have much left to do which is making me think that I do but am missing something. Any advice on last minute items/details to get in order that may easily be overlooked?

I would just say to make sure to schedule plenty of time for yourself to rest during your wedding week! You probably won’t be sleeping well so planning specific blocks of time where you won’t be doing errands or going to events is super important.

At this point too I would say to just take deep breaths and enjoy the last month of your engagement. You’re always going to feel like you’ve forgotten something...... and no matter how well you prepare, I guarantee you WILL forget something, and things WILL go wrong. Just spend this last month making peace with that and resolving to be the kind of bride who has an amazing day no matter what Smiley smile

Date twin! I am actually stressing right now, and doing my best not to freak out. Don't forget your marriage license, we just got ours on Monday. The RSVP and guest list is my main concern at the moment. Did you get all RSVPs back already?

We did the marriage license already and gave it to the priest so that’s all set! I’m currently waiting on 11 guests to send in their response card so not too bad. I’m missing more reply cards than that but it’s my fiancé's siblings who are extremely last minute with everything. The only reply card we’ve received from his family so far is his parents. My whole family is accounted for so not having all of them in is stressing me out! Lol. I just want to finish the place cards and seating chart. How are you on RSVPs?

Thank you! We decided on an initimate wedding so close family/friends only. We have a count of 63 including the 2 of us. We went for an old Hollywood style wedding. I love all things vintage and the things I was picking out all seemed to be old Hollywood-like so that’s what we’re going with!

Take pictures of how you want some of your decorations arranged and print or text them to your wedding planner or friends who will be helping with set up on the day of so they can know which things go where! I saw this idea on a wedding planner’s youtube channel and loved it!

I would start planning if you havent already a day of time line to keep everyone on track..make sure all your wedding stuff you thought you got is all there i know i thought i had bought something already and forgot .. also dont forget ceremony details flowers rose petals ordered etc ... im going over things all the time i have 22 days left and keep feeling like im forgetting things don't forget to do sesting chart or table assignments early so your not stressed about that last min to ...just relax pay stuff off as early as possible and relax and enjoy your time till wedding and dont forget to break in your wedding day heals if your wearing them they say 2 weeks a head of time wear them around house to break them in ...hope that helps

    Your wedding sounds absolutely amazing!!

What is your dress like? Were you inspired by old Hollywood glamor for your look?
