30 days until the big day!!! Any advice?

Bride2B2017, on July 26, 2017 at 7:17 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

So I think we have just about everything done. Vendors are booked and paid for, linens ordered, RSVPs are all in except for one of the groomsman ghosting- maybe he will turn up! Other then that, I'm ordering his ring Friday and getting our marriage license Monday. Oh and guess what else, we bought a house and move in Monday! Haha! Crazy month! Bachelorette party this weekend and I can't wait! Let me know if you have any words of wisdom!! Can't believe this crazy ride is almost over!!! Smiley sad

Relax, rely on the vendors and research you did and the contract you signed. It truly goes by fast so spend some alone time with DH, whether its dinner at the sweet heart table or just stepping away to take it all in.

If you haven't already wrote out your thank you notes to your bridal party and parents do so asap. I decided to wait until the night before our rehearsal dinner thinking it would be a quick task. I became so overwhelmed with emotion that I barely made it through my bridesmaid's thank you cards lol. I didn't even bother to write my parents cards because I was sobbing from happy tears about how much they mean to me lol. Definitely wish I would have taken the time to write out a few cards per week instead of trying to do them in one night.

Your just getting off the wedding roller coaster and you will be boarding the marriage roller coaster. That was a short fast twisty turny one... the marriage one is very long with gradual hills and hairpin turns at unexpected times, occasionally a loop de loop.
