Hey all!

Another busy day!
Paid our last Venue payment , yay! Sent in my final menu and song choices.Selected the groom and groomsmen outfits. A nice bridal shop, is still accepting appointments for fittings and as long as all measurements are in by next Friday, everything will arrive in time.🤞🙏
I also went to my fitting. Dress looks great, the top needs a few more darts, it's still too big, but I just love my dress and bustle! It will look better when it's fluffed out, and pictures really don't do it justice.
Overall excited and optimistic about our wedding❤🥰Not the best picture of me, since I'm crying, but had to share with someone. Best of luck to all and happy planning. cfb_1392475.jpg

Oh wow, that's really great!! I'm glad to hear that your area wasn't hit as hard. That makes more sense now. I wasn't sure where you were from. I'm in California, and it's been really bad here. There are over 1000 cases in my county alone. We've been sheltering in place (and I've been working from home) since March 16. I'm glad my job was able to set us up to work from home, because we need the money. I'm not sure how we'd survive if I couldn't work.

When this all first started, my venue wasn't worried. We were still months away from our date (May 30) and they thought things would be fine by then. But then things in CA got worse, and SIP orders were extended. My venue coordinator was really great, and she was willing to wait it out and see what happened. But FH and I learned that some of our VIPs wouldn't be able to come on that date, even if the venue gave us the go, because of travel restrictions being placed on them by their employers. I'm 52. This is my first marriage, and wedding. It's something I only plan on doing once, so I want all my most important people there. So we decided to postpone. Looking back at it now, it's clear that we would have had to postpone anyway, since this pandemic is dragging on longer than anyone hoped. My venue is currently closed. Also, our honeymoon was supposed to be a Caribbean cruise, and that's now cancelled too. Fingers crossed for next year!

Good luck Anna! I can't wait to see your pictures!!

It's been hard, and I'm feeling said about it. But at the same time, FH and I didn't want to give up on our dream wedding. So we pushed it out to next May (2021), and hopefully we'll still be able to have the wedding we want, with all of the people there that we love.
