You look beautiful! What’s the dress color? From the back, the underlay looks gray or lavender. Very cool, whatever color it is!

You're very welcome! You've also been very supportive of me during my planning! I think that's one of the reasons I keep coming here, is that I've found some really awesome ladies to vent with, cry with, share experiences and advice with. Women in general don't build each other up enough. So, when I get the opportunity to do that, I take it!!

Since your wedding was just a week after mine, and obviously you haven't postponed, have you had to alter the event to keep it going? How are you still able to go forward on June 6?

View Quoted Comment In North Carolina, we will be on phase two of the state opening, if not phase three by June 6th.
In phase two 50 people can gather.
We have invited 50, but doubt we get more than 35, close family and friends.
My wedding is outside, and will be set up to allow for social distance , only family members will sit together. After talking to friends , family, my travel agent , my photographer, hairdresser, makeup artist and the Venue, We all felt that the thing to do was to move forward as planned.
We have all been observing the stay at home order for a month now, we only had 15 cases in our county, all recovered without hospitalization.
I personally am not going to let fear of what ifs stop me, I'm almost 54, I've lived through the bird flu, swine flu, sars etc. We can't stop living our lives based on fear. I think the media, is making things alot worse, by inflating deaths in some cases.
Most Doctors here, think that we had it in our area in November, of last year. We weren't afraid then, because we weren't encouraged to be.
My venue is having all weddings as planned, first ones in May were by Zoom. We will probably also have zoom, for guests who may be fearful to attend.
Our travel agent is traveling the same week that we have our honeymoon. She is not fearful and neither are we. Our destination is 100% virus free, I'm sure we will have to have our temperature taken before boarding the plane and before going through customs. And upon returning. That's fine. All Sandals locations open back up in May.
Everyone is entitled to react to a crisis, as they see fit, My fiancee and I fill like we made the right decision for us. Anyone with any hesitation that doesn't want to attend our wedding, we totally understand. But, we feel it's time to move forward. I don't fault those who haven't, but this was our decision to make, and looks like the Governor of North Carolina, agrees with us , as he opens up the state tomorrow. I'm just being optimistic and hopeful as I have been since I got engaged.
