3 ring beaers 3 flower girls....HELP?!?!

Lindsey, you asked why I thought it was *you know what word* so why wouldn't I use it in the reply?

"Tacky" isn't the right word....I would use "unnecessary" or "overkill" to describe having that many flower girls and ring bearers. Like in my head....you only need one person to "bear the rings" so to speak, why are you having so many? Family politics?

ETA I don't think that Kristina was calling the children tacky. She was calling this idea tacky (which again I don't think is the right word but I get what she meant by it)

I think pairing them up is a good idea.

I don't know why people are criticizing the number of children in your wedding. Typically WW is in favor of non-traditional bridal parties. There's nothing wrong with having the children you care about in your wedding, just as there's nothing wrong with having a large number of BMs.

I think having all of those kids will be adorable! My fiance and I love children and will definitely be including them in our wedding. I think kids add a fun atmosphere to the day.

Lol it just seems like you think a lot of things are tacky- bridal parties with a lot of children, signs, having FGs wear the same dresses, etc.

The only things that really matter are those that affect the guest experience. Those you can call tacky, like having a huge gap or a cash bar. But the number of FGs and RBs a person chooses, to me, shouldn't matter and shouldn't earn them a declaration of "tacky".

Definitely pair them up OR have three boys then three girls.

If you have 3 wedding colors, you could have each flower girl in a pair throw that color petal so by the time you walk down the aisle, it'll be a floral sea of wedding color. I'm kind of digging it.

Also, can we circle back to it being tacky for flower girls to wear the same dress? I was planning on just getting them the same dress? I also wasn't worried about their dress matching mine, other than making sure it was ivory? Am I doing this wrong?

Katherine, don't worry about that. There's no "wrong" to a flower girl dress just like there's no wrong number of flower girls.

I'm having 2 flower girls and ring bearers. They are in my family and I want them to be apart of it. I'm having my ring bearers walk down together and my flower girls walk down together

There is nothing TACKY about having the children you love in your wedding...it doesn't matter the number. What matters is what makes YOU and YOUR FH happy. We are doing 3 and 3. Because my children and my future niece and nephew mean the world to us...Good luck

I'm having FIVE little boys, possibly one FG (although it's doubtful now). It's not tacky. It's my wedding, they're my nephews. Didn't want to pick one. Parents were on board. Do what you want. It's your ceremony and no skin off anyone's nose to involve children. I think 3 and 3 sounds adorable. I'm guessing the parents are ok with it otherwise they would have declined v
