Well, I decided that I was going to change after the 1st dance prior to cutting the cake & toss the garter belt.

At 1st I wasn't going to change, for the fact that how often am I going to wear a wedding dress? But my DH wanted me to "show off" my legs. So for him, I would do any & everything. He was absolutely right, it was fun & I felt extra beautiful. Go for it & post it when you can!

Not going to wear a second one...I love my wedding dress way too much to not wear it all night, but I love seeing photos of the reception dresses other girls have!

My second dress is currently being made. I want to be able to get down with my friends and family, not do the wedding dress shimmy all night

I am only having my wedding dress. We are having a ceremony and dinner one Saturday and a dance reception the next and I plan on wearing my wedding dress both days. I love it so much and probably won't get a chance to wear it again after the wedding festivities are over.

You'll get a lot of comments "I love my dress! I wanna stay in it forever!" Or "It's silly to change after spending so much."

Whatever! I can't post mine on mobile, but I'm definitely changing and so are my BMs! My 2nd dress is short and sexy and great for dancing. I'll probably change after the first dances and toasts.

@TammyNicole, when you can please come back & post your 2nd dress. I must confess, I enjoyed wearing my 2nd dress which was fun & flirty. It didn't take away the fact that I loved (& still do) my wedding gown. But when I got on the dance floor after dinner, it was on & popping

As much as I loved my dress I couldn't WAIT to get it off at the end of the night. In hindsight I can definitely see the benefits of the second dress- so do what works for you!

My seamstress is in the process of making my wedding dress into a 2 in 1..This is the look I am *hoping* I will get Smiley smile

She is inserting 60 snaps into the top layer (with is all the layered lace and chiffon) and then she is running a thin line of velcro on the satin underneath, and then she is cutting the built in petticoat out of the dress, inserting an elastic band so I can slip it on/off.

You don't have to ask me twice! It was a drop waist and corset so it was a little hard to sit down in.

I bought a second dress. I was concerned about having to go to the bathroom in the big wedding dress. But I didn't change. Someone on wedding wire said they sat on the toilet backwards. It worked!

Nope, i'll be in my dress all evening, as it's pretty comfortable. That was a quality i was looking for when making my decision to purchase my dress.

I love that shorter dress! I wore my second dress for the dinner and first dance and then switched back to my white dress after the first dance.

I didn't think I wanted a second dress until I realized I want to dance like no one's watching and I can't do that in a sheath gown in heels. I'm currently on the hunt and have 4 choices from Free People.
