25 DAYS!!!! What Am I Forgetting? Help me cross my I's and dot my T's PLEASE :-)

Takeivia, on June 4, 2013 at 1:10 AM Posted in Planning 1 14

My entire planning process has been pretty smooth, however, now with only 25 days left I want to make sure I haven't forgotten to purchase something or think about something or make arrangements for something. So with this post I need you ladies to just shoot from the hip to make sure I haven't overlooked anything. I need to make a list...GO!

    - Assign someone to put your overnight bag in your hotel room if different from where you are staying / getting ready

    - Get your wedding night lingerie Smiley smile

    - Guestbook

    - Card box

    - table numbers

    - menu cards (if doing)

    - favors (if doing)

    - deodorant (i forgot to put it on and was just before I walked up the aisle)

    - bride emergency kit - qtips, advil, tide pen, bobby pins, perfume, lip stick/gloss

    - unity candle / sand (if doing)

There WILL be some things you forget (we forgot to do the unity candle during the ceremony, oops) but take everything in stride. You'll be so euphoric on your wedding day, you won't even notice Smiley smile

We don't have a venue w/a built in caterer so here are some things we went "duh" about:

    Salt & Pepper shakers

Holder for creamer, coffee stirrers & sugar packets

Floor Mats for guest to wipe their feet in case of rain

Cell phone cord in "day of" bag

Gifts for parents and FH (if y'all are doing those)

I'm making little gift bags for my girls:

    Shoe Bag

    Pain Reliever

    Antacid

    Chapstick

    Bobby Pins

    Safety Pins

    Insect Repellent

    Sewing Kit

    Elastic Hair Band

    Comb

    Tissues

    Deodorant Wipe

    Shout® Wipe

    Tampax® Tampon

    Breath Mints

    Towelette

    Nail Clipper & File

    Peppermint Foot Wipe

    Bandages (2)

    Shoe Cleansing Wipe

    Nail Polish Remover Wipe

    Ball of Foot Cushions (2)

    Anti-skid Pads (2)

    Heel Gel Cushions (2)

And I'm bringing myself some clean undies! Just in case I sweat.

Go step by step through your entire evening -guest walk in venue, need guest book, pen, arrangement, table, etc. I almost forgot to get the marriage license. Also, pack separate bags for night before (if not staying at home), day of, wedding night, and honeymoon. Just stay calm and as long as you remember the marriage license, and the groom and officiant show up you have accomplished the most important task for the day! Good luck!
