24 days away and FREAKING OUT

Kylee, on February 11, 2015 at 4:22 PM Posted in Planning 0 23

The wedding is officially 24 days away. Im starting to freak out about all the little things that still need doing (and where all the extra money is going to come from). Did I mention Im a full time college student in my final semester and I have a full time job?? No? Thats how crazy I am. Anyone else almost to their date and stressed out? What do you have left to do? Lets comfort each other.

I'm 59 days away, and freaking out a little too! Mostly about money. Yikes. If it wasn't 8.30am where I am, I'd be having a wine! Haha. Herbal tea will have to do!

What do you still need to get done?

I'm excited its so close, but also terrified! I still need to make the centerpieces, buy all the liquor, make the wedding signs, and a million other tiny things. Its 3PM here, so win sounds lovely. I'll take 7 Smiley winking

Hi Kylee Smiley smile I'm 73 days away! I swear just yesterday I was 78 days away lol...I feel completely overwhelmed and stressed so I can only imagine how you feel with less than a month to go >.<

I still have a ton of little and some big things to take care of and I'm freaking out. I also work full time and have a 2 yr old and 8 yr old AND I go to the gym every evening, FH works later hrs than I do so its all on me with kids on most nights. Weekends is when I take advantage of FH being home and I've been taking care of a bunch of stuff lately. When he needs to come then we just leave them with my mom, idk what I'd do without her!

Anyway, I still need DJ (meeting him tonight), mariachi, get marriage license, get kids outfits, buy gifts for BMs and GMs and fam members who have helped, deliver some invites, have hair trial, buy jewelery. AND then get ready for our honeymoon, we will be leaving the following monday at 1 am :/

You can do it! Just think, in 25 days this will all be over and you'll be happily married!

Also, speaking of 7 glasses of wine:

@Mayra- My goodness, I can only imagine the additional stress of taking care of 2 other people while doing this. I have a dog and a cat and I get overwhelmed with that! You go girl! I'm at the point where I have to write everything down because my brain is at its capacity. We get married on a Saturday and leave for Maui the next day at 3. I'm excited for the wedding, but I'm so ready for it to be here and over, and I can just enjoy my man on the beach Smiley winking

I still have more than a year to go but it's stressful because I get in wedding planning mode on and off... It's kind of annoying. I have lots to do.

@lauren- the most important thing for you to remember is once you book your venue, you have time and you can relax a bit.

I'm with you. My wedding's a week after yours and I still have so much to do. Every weekend from here out is going to be filled with wedding chores.

I honestly just try not to think about it. The money thing is stressful, but we've got that covered...one way or another. At this point, I'm just trying to celebrate one little victory at a time. I just ordered the little books we are going to read our vows from...something SO small, but I was really stressing about. Baby steps.

I have 2 months and 19 days. I've had everything planned wayyyy in advance. Things have been really smooth. Now, I'm stressing out because I can't do anything. I hate that I have to 'wait until the last minute' to finish things. Such as finalizing with my decorators once we know how many people/tables we actually have. Pretty much we need a count for everything now or it just needs to be closer. I know there is nothing I can do, but it's still stressful. I started a list of all the thing I need to do. As long as it is written down I'm okay if it all need to be done, however I'm nervous about the things that I'm not even thinking about that will come up.

@KM something stupid I'm stressing about; finding an easel for my announcement chalk board... and arranging BM's gifts perfectly... like WHO CARES? Apparently I do.

Luckily our venue has those for my chalk boards. BM's gifts are just going to be put in the totes I got them. I have to bring everything on an airplane so I'm not worried about how nice it looks. The biggest stress for me right now is chapel pew decorations, how I'm going to get so much crap from Nebraska to Florida and back.

@KM Can you ship it in pieces? I live in Phoenix, AZ and I have to get all my stuff to San Diego. I just shipped it to my parents in pieces and I will assemble it later.

I've actually just been asking people in FL to buy stuff there for me and sending them the money. The sucky part is now being able to see anything until two days before the wedding

I'm at just over 6 weeks and starting to freak a bit. FG necklaces still haven't arrived (not a huge deal), and I need to finish my card box, table numbers and other misc signs an pictures around the venue. Oh, and order flower petals, and finish BM gifts and start writing vows. /sigh

@Kylee, thanks I'm doing my best! And I agree with you, although I'm really excited for the wedding, I'm more excited of the thought of this being over and done with and I could just take a huge deep breath and have no worries for at least 1 month. I plan to eat so much following my wedding, then get back on track again lol.
