2022 Brides!! — when did you get engaged?

Finally got engaged February 9th and we celebrated 7 years together in June (and as of a few months ago known each other 12) and I’m getting married October 9th 2022🥰

I will say we didn’t start planning until around July and found our venue by accident in September. We’ve already spent $7500 in deposits 😅 and I’m stressed about the rest

I'm still debating not sure whether to get married 2022 or 2023 but let's see how the year goes..

I got engaged July 3rd 2021 and we will be getting married August 20, 2022.

Engaged 12/27/20 and will be getting married 10/22/22. Finishing up my RN degree and planning a wedding is a little stressful but the long time between engagement and marriage has helped a lot! 308 days to go!

We got engaged on 1/6/21. Our wedding is set for May 2022. I really wanted a spring wedding and we didn't want a super long engagement. Many places have been really understanding and deposits were not too bad. We had some trouble finding a date a lot of venues were already booked for many weekends in May. I originally wanted a later May date but settled for May 13th. I am such a planner so everything was on a time schedule and it worked out great everything was spaced out enough for us.

We got engaged in July of 2020 and our wedding is in April of 2022. All of our “dates” are in the summer time but I didn’t want to be sweaty and hot on our wedding day, so we went for a spring date. I knew I wanted a longer engagement to make sure we would have enough time to plan everything, and I’m glad that we started booking vendors early!

We got engaged in October of this year and are having our wedding on August 6, 2022. We’ve already booked our venue and paid the deposit of $1000. We’ve booked our photographer and have paid him half of his fee. We’ve booked the videographer and are paying him in full next month. And we’ve booked a photo booth and have paid them in full.
This is the second marriage for both of us so we’ve been busy finding our major vendors so that all we have to worry about is paying for everything.
Two of the places we were interested in were already booking events into early 2023 so I’d say find your place and start saving and paying now.

We got engaged in May and we are getting married June 11th 2022! We are getting married at my family’s farm my mom is build a new barn so we can have our ceremony in the barn then reception is in the hayfield 😁

My fiancé and I just got engaged October 2nd of this year and will be getting married 10/29/22! At first, I wanted to wait a few years but my fiancé didn’t. Everybody told me to just go and do it, don’t wait! So here we are, 2 1/2 months later with a good portion of the wedding booked! I’m starting nursing school in January so my goal is to have the majority of the wedding planned and figured out by the end of the year since I won’t have a lot of time to focus on small details next year. We’re so excited!!!

Got engaged on Christmas of last year. Got secretly married on July 2, 2021 of this year, but wedding is July 2, 2022 , but everything is organized and budget and done. Just a few little things to handle here and there but I prepped this year so much so I could not be to overwhelmed since I have social anxiety. Just a note though to all the brides. I had to order my bridesmaid dresses now and get them fitted last week and ordered as I was told certain many bridesmaid gowns are backed up these days. So just putting it out there to help.

I got engaged in May 27 2021. We will be getting married July 30th 2022. Me and my finacé decided that our anniversary for dating would be the perfect day to get married. Ordered my dress in June and received it in August. I was so excited that it came so fast. We decided on a somewhat short engagement since we have been together so long. It will be 12 years on the day we get married.

We got engaged April 2021 and will be tying the knot in October 2022. We’re having an out of state minimony with our nearest and dearest.

We got engaged on August 3, 2021 and our wedding is July 30, 2022. So almost exactly a 1 year engagement. The first few months of planning were stressful but we got all the big stuff taken care of and now can breathe a bit during the holidays!
