Hello everyone who’s getting married in 2020 and what you are working on.... I already book my venue last year now working on catering and photography!!!
I am DIY-ing all of my centerpieces, floral arrangements, signage, etc. Basically every decoration/floral piece other than my bouquet and FH boutonniere!
As far as style of dress goes, we are getting married in a cute little outdoor venue (it looks like a tiny fairytale village), so I want my dress to be ivory, long-sleeved, and possibly with an illusion or no back at all. I've always wanted a princess dress since I was a little girl, but as an adult, I'm leaning towards a more figure-hugging silhouette like a mermaid.
I'm getting married April 4 2020. I haven't gotten anything complete yet 😳 I know I want the ceremony at my church but I haven't booked a reception venue or anything else yet. There's so many vendors and venues it's so overwhelming
We’re getting married in April 2020 and so far we have the venue and catering booked! Finishing up details with photographer with plans to book this week. Next up is the DJ!
Hi Nikki! We're getting married July 5, 2020 because July 6 is our anniversary of being together for 6 years. So far were choosing one of my dad's best friend venue in Dallas and they offer an in house catering or you can bring outside vendors. I'm getting my dress custom made by my sister's friend who is a fashion designer but she told me that she wasn't going to take my final decision until July of 2019 because I'm likely to change my mind! With school starting back tomorrow I'll probably take a break to focus on classes and pick up during spring break and summer.
I got my dress I found my venue just waiting for February to book it ..... they book a year in advance .... now I am figuring out food and stuff ..... and I have a photographer and my makeup decided I need to talk for the person I want to do my hair
Hello we’re getting married March 2020. My fiancé’s family owns an entertainment company so we have DJ, officiant, florists, and photographer booked. Going to look at our last venue tomorrow before we decide.

Hey! So I still have to pick my songs for the ceremony and the readings for the Mass. I need to send out the invitations, my FH needs to decide what is he going to wear and also the groomsmen attire needs to be selected as well. I have yet to buy his ring! I know I’m late for that but it’s complicated. We haven’t started working on the wedding day timeline yet. I also need to select my accessories and the bridesmaid accessories as well. Other than that I think the rest is already set. It k still have quite a few things to do. Getting stressed already!
That’s awesome! We are getting married in January 2020. So far we’ve booked the venue (which is all inclusive and includes the cake, caterer, dj, etc.), our photographer, our florist, decided where we want to honeymoon, and this week I’ve started looking at dresses!!
Congratulations ❤️ I'm getting married in August 2020! We've booked our venue which comes with catering and bar service, we also booked our DJ, have a few ideas for dessert, and we have our photographer! What's your venue? You definitely want to start booking I know a lot of photographers and stuff are already booking since 2020 seems to be a popular year for weddings!
Engaged Dec 2018, married in 2020...that is literally all we have so far. My fiancé is finishing residency and is in the middle of job hunting. We are moving in June and we don’t know where to yet, so until that is figured out, it is pretty difficult to plan much else.
My FH and I getting married April 25, 2020! So far, I have the ceremony/venue booked, photographer booked, caterer booked, DJ booked, and the baker booked! I feel like I've done ALOT, but really havent even hit the tip of the iceberg lol. Started my dress hunt, but not buying unti Oct 2020. Good luck everyone!
Hey Katlyn! I completely understand how overwhelming it all can be! Do you have an idea of what type of reception venue you might like? Indoor/outdoor? Any must-haves?
