So overall I think it went good. She fit the hips waist and butt area they way I wanted it as well as the shear straps to fit more snug. I am concerned abut the sheer sides and bank as right now the back portion sits a decent amount away from my skin and I want it to fit like a glove. She said that she will not alter this part until it gets closer as she only wants tomes with the sheer panels once. Overall it was a good fitting. I am excited to try it on again seeing that majority of the other parts need to be taken in will be done. I am also not a fan of how she wants to bustle it. Basically just at my butt, I am going to ask her about doing a French bustle, I think with my dress and the lace on it, it should sit nicer and look elegant.

I am a plus size woman and I was worried that I wouldn’t enjoy dress shopping as well, but I found a dress. Just make sure your stylist is friendly and makes you feel comfortable. They will do the rest for you! Here’s my dress before alterations. I am a size 16.
