Hello everyone! I know everyone is trying to decide what to do about their weddings. It is a stressful time that is suppose to be the happiest time of our lives. My wedding date is June 27,2020. As of right now I am not so worried about my wedding date. I am more worried about what to do about my bridal shower and bachelorette party. My shower is April 18 and my bachelorette party is May 21-24. I pretty much preparing myself to postpone or have to cancel. It’s just so hard to make the decisions. Sending prayers and good vibes to all other brides!

My bridal shower was suppose to be on April 18th, but got postponed to June 7th. I was upset about it at first, but I feel better now that it’s rescheduled.

I would definitely not do the shower on April 18th at this point (due to CDC and state guidelines, state regs may vary where you live but I would still feel uncomfortable gathering people in a room in just a few weeks). My FH's bachelor party weekend was originally April 18th but he's just canceled/postponed it without a future date in mind. To me those extras aren't super important, and I just want the wedding itself to happen as we planned, but if they were important to you I feel really sorry that you may need to change your plans. Good luck!

Would you do something online if you can't meet in person on those days? I've attended online happy hours and an online birthday party in the last few weeks, that could be a good way to mark the dates and keep them special while following local guidelines to keep everyone safe. Maybe if they have to be canceled you can have a big night out later on, closer to the wedding date or even after it, so you can still get time in person with your friends. I hope everything works out and will def send good vibes your way!
