October 2019 bride! We have our venue booked (they also do are bar and catering), photographer, florist, invitation are done. In the process of finding a DJ. And I'll go dress shopping in two weeks. We are planning a wedding cross country so we are doing a lot of it now.

August 2019 - working on getting venue booked! They only have one day booked so we have some time which is great because FH seems to keep putting off his side of the guest list lol so once that's finalized, the venue contract will be finalized and we'll be on our way! Photographer's next!

Here! We just changed our date to 2019 due to next year being so busy for us. I'm excited to enjoy this engaged life longer and actually plan prewedding events vs rushing to have something cheap and no fun things in between bc it's rushed! We have started looking into venues in a few diff locations bc we can't decide right now, but no rush Smiley smile I feel better now having more time to pick everything out perfectly!

We figured out our timeline, for sure. I've just about nailed down a venue and we've decided to (Horrors!!!) self cater. Relax it's gonna be low country boil for 50. I'm not gonna force my mother to make 200 chicken cordon bleu. (Seriously, I did know a girl who did that.) We're gonna have an engagement party in the park this May, when I'm off from school.

Reading everyone's post I feel so behind lol. We don't have a set date yet, since we do not have a venue, (although all the venues we have looked at have our "possible date available) and our date may be more toward the end of 2019. We have looked at venues and will be looking at a lot more soon. Hoping to book a venue by the beginning of next year!

Well, we know we are definitely getting married at my church with flowers. We know our colors are navy, blush, gold and white. We are still looking at venue options since we are serving lunch. Trying to agree on a small guest list when extra people want to be added to the list. That’s the most frustrating situation so far.

Have an all-inclusive venue picked out. Still saving for the deposit. Will start dress shopping after Christmas. I'm getting anxious and ready to start pulling together a timeline.

We picked a date (Halloween 2019) and told people we are engaged but that's it. Oh I did buy a binder to keep my wedding plans organized. We do know we will have a non traditional wedding and it will be small like 20 people. I also have an appointment to look at a venue in March.

Venue is picked out but not booked yet. Our case is slightly complicated, as my fiancé lives in another country. Funds are definitely tight.

Right now, I’m entering as many giveaways as possible. I am scheduled to tour the venue that we both love on next Sunday. They will do catering, the toast, cake cutting, and centerpieces/decorations. The plan is to pay off the venue by the end of May and then start looking at wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses. I’m really hoping to win at least one give away.

Looking to get married October 2019. I have two venues in minds that I’m touring next month. I’ve tried on dresses and I know what colors and decor I want.

I agree. Im enjoying doing pre-wedding events. It makes things more fun and laid back. I rather a long engagement to have things the way I want instead of settling.

Planning on engagement photos this fall, also in works with the wedding cake Baker! I thought I was doing the most by planning this early but seeing all these posts I'm glad I'm ahead of the game!

We’re getting married June 2019 - it will be a long engagement (2.5 years) because I refuse to have my braces on for the wedding! (Sounds petty, but I’m full on missing teeth and really want to feel beautiful on the one day I get to be a bride!) We have the venue, caterer, cake baker, and photographer booked as of this month. Our goal is to have DJ and florist booked by September. I’ll probably go dress shopping etc around Aug/Sept as well. We’ll take engagement photos in the fall after tooth implants etc are done. Then we’ll spread out all the smaller details until the big day. Smiley smile The long engagement is a bit painful sometimes, but I have to say that it’s nice to not have felt stressed about planning even once! It has been pretty fun and leisurely for us both. Plus, the way my smile is coming along, I don’t think I’ll regret the wait to 2019!

As of today I finally got to book my venue and this comes with the food and beverage. Will probably book the photographer sometime this upcoming week. Hoping to take engagement photos this year in the summertime. And I am in the process of searching for a DJ.
