A pal is getting married in two weeks and she came over last night to talk about final touches for DIY stuff and wedding excitement. Well, she let me know she wont be having a seating chart... for a wedding with 200 plus guests. GROSS. I know some people are ok with that, but I HATE GOING TO...

Well, she let me know she wont be having a seating chart... for a wedding with 200 plus guests. GROSS. I know some people are ok with that, but I HATE GOING TO WEDDINGS WITHOUT SEATING CHARTS. This was my actual reaction. So excited for her wedding... so scared for a lack of seating chart.

Sounds like a cluster. I prefer organization.

    I love your picture!

I am pro seating chart, though every wedding I had ever been to had NEVER had one..and I always got crappy seats that I had to FIGHT for! Then I went to a wedding with a seating chart, and it was awesome.

I have about 180 invited guests. of that, 160 are MY friends and family. they would actually be offended if i told them exactly where to sit. also, i come from a bunch of uneducated country people (it's true), so they would probably be confused by being seated somewhere. it's going to simply work better for me by not having one.

200 people. Yikes. I guess to each his/her own. We're expecting approx 60-70 people and I have a seating chart.

I'm going to have have about 300 guests, no seating chart either. Like kysweetheart, my family would be offended if I told them where to sit. Our venue fits up to 500, so I'm not sweating it.

I went to a wedding with about 2-250 people without a seating chart and it was MADNESS. We're expecting somewhere between 80-100 people and I do have divorced parents but really dislike seating charts. So I compromised: FH and I are having a sweetheart table and I'm reserving tables for immediate family and bridal party.
