2 year engagement timeline?

Due to some events going on we are thinking of having a 2 year engagement. I've looked online and all I see are planning timelines for a year. Does anyone have a timeline for a 2 year engagement? Has anybody done this how do you go about plannjng and booking everything?

I started researching things and then started booking vendors 1.5 years out and bought my dress at that time too. Some times I do a lot of wedding stuff and then I won't do anything for a month or two. I like not having to rush stuff

We did a 17 month engagement, because that worked for us. We wanted to save for the perfect wedding.

You can google 2 year timelines if you want something more firm to stick to.

We also have a 2 year engagement. I would def start by looking up venues so you can get an idea of what you want, and roughly how much you can spend.

Then once you decide your venue book it as soon as you can, so at least you can start saving towards that.

I didn't start stressing until about now because I'm less than 6 months away, so now it's like oh man it's really soon and I need to get things done.

We have a 28 month engagement primarily for budget reasons. We wanted a kick ass party and we are paying for it.. so save save save. No specific timeline. I used the guideline here and a wedding planning binder that my friend gave me

Doing 2 year engagement to save. Booking venue as soon as possible though, some venues in our area will book for 2019 as early as this July. Most are already booked for 2018! So that will be our first thing checked off since we know our budget and have a tentative max guest list. After venue we will look into photographer and dj and book when they tell us we can. Everything else will probably wait until it gets much closer!

I'm also having a 2 year engagement! So far we only have our date, venue and DJ booked. However, I'm loving the longer engagement because as everyone else is saying it just gives you more time to really look around and save money just to know for sure you're picking exactly what you want! as for the timeline, I based mine off of a 1 year timeline but just spaced things out a little bit more!
