Dedicated June 2019

2 weeks out, just want to elope.

Hey guys, Sorry I haven't posted in so long. So it's getting down to the nitty-gritty, 2 weeks away from I do. Things can't be any worse. Yesterday a tornado ripped through our beautiful two-acre backyard which is our venue. It destroyed everything including my SO's separate office/shed building tearing it to pieces. It's a disaster. But whatever right? We'll clean it up no huge amount of damage done. Then I pick my dress up from the seamstress, It looks beautiful but now with the alterations the dress gives me a back vagina, it looks gross and I feel so insecure now, even so whatever my long hair and veil will cover it up fine, then I notice a huge yellow spot on the left lower side of my dress, I asked the seamstress about it and she said it was like that when I brought it in the only problem is I haven't taken it out of the dress bag since I got it and it's been in my office closet so nobody and none of my animals had access to it. It looks as if a dog or cat hiked up his leg and pee'd on it. Even worse I smelled it and can confirm it's pee. The seamstress denies having any animals around it and refused to clean it. How do I get this off of my dress by myself, after alterations it's not in my budget to have it dry cleaned again, or should I just get over the budget and take it in to be cleaned anyways? Any help is appreciated. How is your wedding planning going?

Definitely just take it in to get professionally cleaned. Also the "back vagina" (lol) happens to a lot of people and you can sometimes have someone go behind you after the dress is on and smooth it out but taking their hand and pushing your skin out toward your sides. I'm also 2 weeks out but feeling really good!

I think you should get it dry cleaned because that seems like something you probably should not try to do yourself.

i'm so sorry to hear about everything else, glad to hear you are ok and that the damage was at least repairable.

take a breather, you're almost there to the finish line. things will come together Smiley smile

You're so close! I would second professional cleaning since its your wedding dress. But I've heard oxyclean works wonders. Maybe just gently wetting it and rubbing baking soda on it could get it out.

I'm so sorry everything isn't going right! Take the dress to a professional cleaner asap and make sure to leave reviews for the seamstress. Hope things start getting better soon!
