Yep, a lot of people have 2 MOHs now. There's nothing wrong with it.

Its your wedding and you can if you like. My cousin is my matron of honor and my best friend is my maid of honor but if they both were or not married it would still stand

Absolutely! It's your day, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. If you feel uncomfortable about it or want to be more traditional make one technically a "bridesmaid" but let her know she's a matron of honor to you. That's what I did. :] I also let them both have a chance at making a speech (usually that's the maid/matron of honors job) so to help them feel included. But keep in mind there is absolutely nothing wrong with having 2 matrons of honor and it's totally up to you!! :]

Yep, that's what I have. My sister and my best friend. It also works because my sister lives out of state, so it makes sense to have two so that she isn't overburdened with MOH duties while out of state (like the bachelorette, showers, etc)

^ I think that is overkill honestly. 2 MOHs, okay, but more than that...eh.
