I am considering making my 2 best friends both maids of honor. Equally close with both of them and could see them working well together. Both are not married, so unfortunately can't do 1 maid and 1 matron of honor. There will be 5-6 additional bridesmaid in addition to these 2. Has anyone done this...

Has anyone done this before? Pros and cons of doing so?

I'm having two maid of honors. It's your wedding you make it how you want it.

I can't pick between my sister and best friend.

It worked out great! They got along so well and even said to me after that it made it easier and was less pressure with having someone to plan with. I had them in floral dresses and the rest of the bridesmaids in solid colors, so they stood out and people could tell I had two. I would recommend doing it if you’re thinking about it!

May I ask how you asked them? Did you ask them both personally or did you do a gift to ask them? I gave my best friends a heads up I was thinking of her and my other best friend splitting duties but I think I hurt her feelings. I want to ask them in a gift way officially but I didn’t know how you brought it up. I was thinking of a letter in the gift box telling them how much they mean to me and that I would be honored if they both would join me?
