2 dresses for courthouse and reception later?

I definitely would. Get as much use out of it for all that money spent.

I didn't go to the courthouse, but my husband and I had a minimony in October and our big wedding was originally scheduled for March 2021 before we just postponed it. I wore a simple dress to the minimony and plan on wearing my big dress for the big wedding .. Whenever we postpone to now!

Most brides pick one dress and wear that as long/often as they can, even with multiple events. Wedding dresses don't come cheap and you don't get to wear it past your wedding day, unless you wear it again for anniversaries.

Good points on wearing the dress as much as possible!

I will have a simples lace white dress for my courthouse wedding and I will be doing the big wedding dress for my church and reception day.

Thank you! It sucks that COVID is messing things up, but its out of our control. Will you be getting married on the beach? Or just at a venue in Mexico? I had an appointment to get my dress altered this weekend I was so ready
