1St dance song

My Fiancé and I have our couples song which is breathe by Angel's and Airwaves, we also want it to be our first dance song, I am over thinking it because it's not exactly a slow enough song, but hes like dead set on it but idk what I should do, any advice is appreciated

You're not subjected to only having slow songs for a first dance.. You can literally pick any song you want.

It's not really a slow dance song but anything can be if you can find a slow instrumental version of it or a cover version.

Hi Diana!
If you and your FS don’t feel like the song you’ve chosen is slow enough for a first dance, you could find a cover version as Melle suggested. There are tons of covers and instrumental versions of songs online that are often quite slower which may be better for the dance.
Do you feel like this could be a good compromise? Have you found any covers you like?

That the problem they dont have any covers that are all that decent and we dont want just an instrumental. it's that moment you wish you had musically inclined friends!

I think it’s kinda fun to have a song that’s not necessarily slow. Our first dance song is not slow at all, but the acoustic version is - we haven’t decided which one we’re using.

Have you danced to the song? Can you imagine yourself dancing to anything else? Is there another song that makes you feel like this one? Think about that, and dance to it, then decide.
