I had our final walk threw Sunday and of course on Saturday, right next door, they started construction. Dust blowing everywhere and it’s impossible to use it.
The normal lawn backup spot can’t be used either. The week before us has a wedding and the week after has a corporate event. They rented a 50K tent that will still be on the lawn ... but we can’t use it unless we provide air conditioning ... and it’s MASSIVE!
There is a beautiful terrace in the restaurant that isn’t allowed to be rented at all (literally not even something they consider) but they went to corporate and got it approved! Yay! Not a garden but it’s amazing, and not the hotel’s fault.
But wait! Then my matron of honors dress won’t fit and she needs a new one three weeks out ... and the cookbooks we ordered for the wedding had some formatting issues too!
This weekend was pretty crazy especially being just 19 days out, but I managed to hold it together and find solutions and stay chill.
