11 days!!!

Samantha, on June 30, 2020 at 8:19 PM Posted in Planning 1 8

We're down to 11 days until the wedding...technically 10 since today is almost over. This is going to be long but my head is spinning, haha. We're getting married on a beautiful property out in the country; we'll have our ceremony by the lake and then our reception is on the same property in a completely rebuilt/renovated barn. We're going to have approximately 150 guests. I've finished paying for everything (honeymoon, decor, clothes, DJ, caterer, caricature artist, gifts for the guests) except next week our final payments for the alcohol and photographer are due but I have that money ready to go. We go the night before to have our rehearsal and we're allowed to have our dinner there as well in their Pavillion by the lake. We'll be able to set up the centerpieces and take a few things inside such as the seating charts, my DJs bringing his equipment, and the alcohol company will be delivering the alcohol. I have a checklist for the wedding day (and rehearsal day) and everything is all packed up and ready to go...my dress is at my mom's. I have all appointments for hair, nails, and massage scheduled for next week. I forgot to get our guys ties, lol, so those are on there way from Amazon. I've asked this before on here...but what are some commonly forgotten things? My bridesmaid is bringing a mini sewing kit, I have a steamer, we're getting ready at the venue. I have a box for the cards. My venue does all set up and clean up except for centerpieces. Oh, and we bought tons of bottled water for everyone to have for the ceremony and our venue has an indoor location in case of rain.

Maybe flats or sandals to change in in case you get uncomfortable? Cake stand, cake cutting stuff etc? Congratulations you’re almost there!! 🥰

Me and my girls actually all bought sandals to change into Smiley smile but I COMPLETELY forgot about cake cutting stuff, so thank you! I think my venue has it because they have all serving utensils but I'll definitely double-check with them!

I would google wedding day check list ha ha. I did and there was one that was a PDF I downloaded and I am making a list in my phone. Little things are cake cutting set, maybe some body or va jay jay wipes in case you sweat, the wedding bands etc... I am type A so I want a list of everything. Surprisingly brides have forgotten their veils lol. I am packing toiletries to touch up too esp for outside weather. Here is a good site: https://www.mooreandcoevents.com/blog/wedding-day-packing-list/

Yeah, lol, my sister always teases me because I'm so organized. I always make lists whenever we go on vacations and I'll make her list too so she doesn't forget things for her and her kids, lol. I also had a timeline for the wedding day made and a bunch of other checklist like months in advance. Thank you for the link I'm checking it out right now!

Type A personalities save lives lol. Even my venue is 45 minutes roughly from where we live so I can't run back home if I forget something ha ha ha. I am all about lists and I do it for travel too ha ha.

You're so close Samantha!! Don't forget to bring a cell phone charger with you to the venue when you're getting ready! Also several of my friends have wished they had deodorant they could reapply right before getting dressed.
